Police investigate suspicious death

Bellevue Police are investigating a suspicious death, after the body of a man in his thirties was found Tuesday afternoon on a lawn near an office park.

At approximately 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, an employee at the Uniguard Office Park, 15801 Northeast 24th St., reported that the body of a man, later determined to be in his thirties, had been discovered in a grassy area near the northeast corner of the complex.

Detectives and crime scene investigators began examining the scene, then investigators from the King County Medical Examiner’s Office removed the body.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine cause of death and make positive identification of the deceased. Public identification will not be made until next of kin has been notified.

The death is described as suspicious due to the age of the deceased and the relatively unusual location he was found in. All other details are being withheld pending further investigation.
