Speaker Registration
The Bellevue Parks & Community Services Board values community input and looks forward to hearing from you during its next meeting.
Public Participation Rules
In compliance with Washington state campaign laws regarding the use of public facilities during an election, no speaker may support or oppose a ballot measure or support or oppose a candidate for an election, which includes your own campaign. Any speaker who begins discussing topics of this nature will be asked to stop.
In addition, there are new rules adopted by the City Council limiting the topics about which the public may speak during our meetings. Under Ordinance No. 6752, the public may now only speak during public comment about subject matters that are related to City of Bellevue government and are within the power and duties of the Parks & Community Services Board. Additional information about the new rules of decorum governing conduct of the public during our meetings can be found at Ordinance No. 6752.
Registration Instructions
Public hearings are an opportunity for citizens to give their views to the Board for consideration in their decision-making process. If you wish to speak at a public hearing, please fill out the below webform. The webform will open at 4:45 p.m. and close at 5:45 p.m. the night of the meeting.
There is no set limit for the number of speakers at the public hearing, however each speaker will be allowed to speak for up to three minutes. During the hearing, speakers will be called in the order in which they have registered. If previous speakers have made the same point you wish to express, simply indicate your support of the comments. If you miss the webform registration deadline, you may still have an opportunity to speak while the hearing is open.
If you are experiencing technical issues with this webform and are unable to register, please contact the Parks and Community Services Board by phone at (425) 452-4162 or by email at parkboard@bellevuewa.gov.
