FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, August 06, 2012

Seeing is enjoying

For those who feed on stories about the visual arts, or the video arts, Bellevue's Lake to Lake news show has a pair of appetizers for you.

Lake to Lake is available on the city's YouTube page, on the city's Internet site and on Bellevue TV (Channel 21). It's created and produced by city staff with help from Bellevue College students. This month's host is Lt. Troy Donlin with the Bellevue Fire Department.

Featured this month are segments on Bellwether 2012: reGeneration, the city's biennial sculpture exhibition, as well as the Summer Outdoor Movies in the Park series. Other segments on the program include:

  • A large new park planned for the Eastgate area;
  • The Transportation Department's recently launched neighborhood traffic safety blog; and
  • Bellevue's biggest draw of the summer: the annual arts and crafts fairs
