123rd Ave SE
This project will involve city staff working with a group of resident volunteers—in the form of a traffic committee—to develop a traffic improvement plan to reduce vehicle speeds along 123rd Avenue Southeast, from Southeast 20th Place to Southeast 26th Street.
The plan, which is currently seeking support from households adjacent to the proposed measures, includes elements that will visually narrow the roadway (a traffic circle, medians, and curb extensions) opposed to vertical measures such as speed humps.
The traffic improvement plan will be constructed in coordination with the neighborhood sidewalk project that includes a five foot sidewalk on the east side of 123rd Avenue Southeast from Southeast 26th Street to Southeast 20th Street.
