Transportation planners will introduce a set of road projects intended to support future growth in the Wilburton area, just east of downtown, at an open house 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, on the first-floor concourse of City Hall.
The Wilburton Connections projects will provide better access between Wilburton, downtown and the Bel-Red area.
At the open house, the city will provide project information, answer questions and receive comments and concerns from business people, property owners and neighborhood residents.
The Wilburton Connections projects are: Northeast Fourth Street Extension, from 116th to 120th Avenue Northeast; Northeast Sixth Street Extension, from I-405 to 120th Avenue Northeast; 120th Avenue Northeast Widening, from Northeast Fourth Street to Northeast Eighth Street; and the Northeast Fifth Street Traffic Assessment.
