The city has a dedicated corps of citizen volunteers who give of themselves to make Bellevue a great place to live, play and work. More than 6,700 people volunteered in 2007, performing a broad range of tasks, from planting trees to teaching classes to serving lunch at the North Bellevue Community Center.
Current programs offer opportunities in a wide range of pursuits with varying time commitments, skills and work focus, so volunteers can tailor their experience to meet their own needs. Bellevue takes great pride in the diversity of its volunteer programs, and is always looking for new opportunities to put volunteers to work. New suggestions are always welcome at volunteer@bellevuewa.gov.
