FREEWAY TRAFFIC INFORMATION: The state Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has several projects under way that can affect traffic in Bellevue at any given time. SR 520
Monday, Feb. 6 to the morning of Friday, Feb. 10 - Crews will close the two left lanes of westbound SR 520 from 92nd Avenue Northeast to 84th Avenue Northeast, nightly from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge pier work.
Monday, Feb. 6 to the morning of Friday, Feb. 10 - Crews will close the 84th Avenue Northeast on-ramp to westbound SR 520, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge pier work.
Monday, Feb. 6 to the morning of Friday, Feb. 10 - Crews will close the right lane in both directions of SR 520 at Evergreen Point Road for bridge pier work. The westbound lane will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The eastbound lane will close nightly from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
CITY STREETS -
UPDATED - Lane Closures: Northup Way, NE 24th Street to 120th Avenue NE: Crews will close the two middle lanes (one eastbound, one westbound) 24/7 for the next several weeks.
UPDATED - Road Closure: West Lake Sammamish Parkway, NE 2nd/Northup Way to SE 26nd Street: The road is closed due to a water main break and mudslide. Drivers will be routed via detours. Detours have been placed at Northup Way to 164th Ave. NE at the northend, and SE 26th St. to 164th Ave SE at the southend. Only local access is permitted in the closure area. The road is expected to reopen in approximately 6 to 9 weeks.
Road Closure: SE 3rd Street from 102nd Avenue SE to Bellevue Way SE: The contractor will close the road to through traffic but local access will be maintained. During non-work hours, one lane of SE 3rd Street will be open and a westbound traffic detour will be in place. Work will occur weekdays, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and possibly Sat., 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is expected last several months. Flaggers will manage traffic flow, pedestrians and local access. Road Closure: SE 6th Street, 102nd Avenue SE to approx. 250' to the west: This section of SE 6th Street is closed 24/7 for equipment and material staging for the Bellevue Pump Station Upgrade by King County. The closure is until further notice.
Lane Closures: SE 22nd Street, 145th Place SE to 156th Avenue SE: Drivers should expect intermittent lane closures and possible delays weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and possibly Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Lane Closures: SE 56th Street, 119th Avenue SE to 123rd Avenue SE: Drivers should expect lane closures with alternating one-way traffic weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
NEW - Lane Closures: 102nd Avenue NE, NE 8th Street to NE 10th Street: Drivers and pedestrians should expect intermittent closures of the curb lanes on 102nd Ave. NE, near the QFC, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. as crews work on a new mid-block crosswalk and pave parking lots.
Lane Closures: 108th Avenue SE, SE 34th Street to Bellevue Way: Drivers should expect periodic lane closures with alternating traffic on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Lane Closures: 145th Place SE, SE 16th Street to SE 24th Street: Drivers should expect intermittent lane closures and possible delays weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and possibly Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Commercial development and private utility work: Drivers and pedestrians should anticipate periodic lane and/or sidewalk closures and delays at these locations:
o Main Street & 148th Avenue SE (Kelsey Creek Mall): Building construction. Expect possible daytime lane closures.
