The Bellevue Arts Commission invites artists, arts organizations and arts presenters to apply for 2007 Special Projects Funding. Bellevue supports projects that provide a cultural benefit for the community by creating a livelier, more diverse arts scene in the city, building participation and support for local arts, encouraging artists and arts groups to bring their work to Bellevue and strengthening the artists and arts organizations already working in Bellevue.
Applications are due by 5 p.m., June 20, at Bellevue City Hall. Guidelines and applications are available on the Special Projects web page or by contacting Arts Program staff at 425-452-4105. Applicants are encouraged to contact Arts Program staff to discuss their applications before applying.
Special Projects is one of two arts funding programs at Bellevue. Special Projects supports arts projects by any artist, organization or presenter, while Eastside Arts Partnerships (EAP) provides annual support for arts organizations operating primarily or totally in Bellevue. Projects must occur in Bellevue and meet several other criteria listed in the Guidelines.
