Residents and other stakeholders have multiple opportunities to provide feedback on the shoreline management update through Bellevue's Planning Commission, residents who serve as an advisory panel for the City Council.
The Planning Commission will review work products, provide input and guidance related to the development of goals, policies and regulations, and serve as a preliminary approval board. Agendas for Planning Commission meetings in which the shoreline management update is addressed are available here.

Boat Tour: On September 20, 2008, more than 50 people joined the Planning Commission and City Council member Patsy Bonincontri for a boat tour of the Lake Washington shoreline. The varied nature of the lake’s shoreline lends itself well to discussions of land uses, public access, piers, bulkheads, stormwater runoff, invasive vegetation and property setbacks. The tour is featured in an October 2008 It's Your City video.
