Regional Animal Services of King County will begin selling pet licenses door-to-door in Bellevue this weekend.
The marketers will educate owners about the benefits of licensing their pets. People who do not license their pets now face fines ($125 for spayed/neutered pets; $250 for unaltered pets). The marketers have official King County photo identification and wear bright blue polo shirts, windbreakers or winter jackets with the pet licensing logo. Summer and fall hours are generally: Sundays, 1 to 8 p.m.; Mondays to Fridays, 4 to 8:30 p.m.; and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Door-to-door marketers accept payment and issue license tags for your dogs and cats while they are at your doorstep.
