Parks & Community Services

Bellevue's Parks & Community Services Department manages an integrated system of exceptional parks and open space, and offers recreational, cultural and human services programs. In 2005, the nationally accredited department received the National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management. "Pearls on a String: Bellevue's Park System"

In November, residents will see a Parks & Natural Areas Levy on the ballot. The measure would replace a levy expiring this year with funding to enhance and maintain parks and open space.
