FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, June 8, 2007

Paving means delays on Northup Way week of June 11

Motorists should expect lane closures and delays the week of June 11 on Northup Way, from 120th Avenue Northeast to 130th Avenue Northeast.

Crews will be grinding and paving nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. There also will be lane closures and delays on 124th Avenue Northeast and on the State Route 520 off-ramp, near Northup Way. Drivers are asked to use caution and obey all construction signing when traveling through the job site.

The work is part of Bellevue’s street overlay program, in which different streets are repaved every year in order to maintain the overall quality of the city’s roadways.
