Newport Hills Neighborhood Park Planning

In 2010 the City of Bellevue acquired property on Southeast 60th Street for a new neighborhood park in the Newport Hills area. The site was purchased with funding from the 2008 voter-approved Parks and Natural Areas Levy. While the levy provided funding for the property acquisition, no money was allocated for property improvements, and no development plans have been established.
Update
The city and the Newport Hills Community Club have recently agreed to work together to develop a vision for the park. A timeline for plan completion has not yet been determined.
The Newport Hills Community Club has additional information and opportunities to be involved in the neighborhood park planning.
