As part of the city’s update to the Shoreline Master Program, the Planning Commission has been considering amendments to the Land Use Code to ensure conformance with the draft Shoreline Master Program. On Dec. 11, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on these conformance amendments at City Hall Council Conference Room at 8 p.m.
These amendments do not include any amendments to the current or draft Shoreline Master Program or the Shoreline Overlay District (Part 20.25E LUC). After the public hearing the Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council for their consideration and approval as part of the Shoreline Master Program update.
In addition, the East Bellevue Community Council will consider the amendments at a courtesy hearing on Dec. 3, in the Lake Hills Clubhouse at 15230 Lake Hills Boulevard, starting at 6:30 pm.
Any person may participate in the public hearing by submitting written comments to the Director prior to the public hearing or by submitting written comments or making oral comments to the Planning Commission at the hearing. All written comments received by the Director will be transmitted to the Planning Commission no later than the date of the public hearing. The Planning Commission offers more information about commenting at a public hearing.
