Using technology to enhance community participation, the Information Technology Department:
Brings city services to customers’ doorsteps. Makes information easily and broadly available. Facilitates affordable, high-speed connectivity throughout the community. Plays a leadership role in utilizing technology to enable regional service delivery. Strengthens operational efficiencies. Leverages investments to improve the quality of service.
The Community Connectivity Consortium, a group of government agencies, hospitals and schools formed to acquire, construct, operate and maintain a regional communications network, will have its annual general meeting at City Hall on Dec. 1. Bellevue is a member of the consortium.
