The City of Bellevue is committed to sustainability, in the way it operates and by helping residents take steps to reduce their impact on the environment. You can contribute to the cause through a variety of volunteer positions.
Parks & Community Services programs have open positions for stewards, docents, naturalists, canoe guides and, last but not least, tree-planters. Several positions are available at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. The city's Waterwise Garden at the Botanical Garden needs tending.

You can mark storm drains to discourage harmful water pollution and monitor local streams and enhance habitat. Through the new "NeighborWoods" program, you can help reforest your own neighborhood.
The list on the left includes a variety of volunteer positions with the city focused on environmental stewardship or check out opportunities with other organizations.
