New dates for funding decisions
The interview panel will bring its recommendations to the Arts Commission on Tuesday, April 14. The Commission will discuss and vote on its recommendations at that day's meeting, 4 p.m., at City Hall. The Commission will present its recommendations to the City Council on April 27, for discussion, and May 4, for approval. After the council's decision, applicants will be notified shortly.
Bellevue provides annual operating funds to arts organizations working either completely or primarily in Bellevue. Arts organizations apply for these funds through the Eastside Arts Partnerships program which is advised by the Bellevue Arts Commission.
The application period for funding in 2009 is closed. The application due date for this year was Feb. 17.
Applicant interviews are complete. Following are the remaining steps for approval. Please note that the Arts Commission meeting date and our Council review and approval dates have been changed. Below are the new dates.
- The interview panel will bring its recommendations to the Arts Commission on Tuesday, April 14. The Arts Commission meets at 4 p.m. at City Hall, in a meeting open to the public. The Commission will discuss and vote on the recommendations it will submit to City Council.
- At this time, the Arts Commission is scheduled to go before Council April 27 for study session and May 4 for approval. These dates could change depending on the rest of Council's calendar.
- Once Council approves the funding recommendations, all applicants wil be notified of the results and next steps.
Applications for 2009 funding are no longer being accepted. Guidelines and application forms are posted here for reference:
Here are final report forms for 2009, and a list of Bellevue Arts Commissioners and Council members. All those receiving EAP funding will be required to complete these reports and submit them with their invoices in order to receive their funding. Final reports are due no later than Nov. 2.
