As the city proceeds with the Downtown Livability initiative, it intends to engage a wide range of stakeholders, including the Bellevue Downtown Association, the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, property owners, developers and businesses, residents, visitors and the downtown workforce. Other interests, including nearby neighborhoods, will also be involved. The city aims to inspire and inform the public about downtown with its outreach.
All stakeholders were invited to an initial open house and scoping meeting on Nov. 29, as well as subsequent open houses tentatively scheduled for July 2013 and March 2014.
Throughout the project, there will be opportunities for people to learn about the project and be engaged. In addition to open houses, the options could include meetings, tours and events. All engagement opportunities will be posted on this page. You can sign up to receive email or text alerts about new developments.
