BELLEVUE – The Bellevue Fire Department will offer a free disaster preparedness class, with simultaneous translation in Russian and Spanish, at Crossroads Bellevue on Feb. 28.
The lecture, 7 to 7:30 p.m., at the center court, will cover many topics including: how to create a family plan, how to build an emergency kit, out-of-area phone contacts, CPR and first-aid training and neighborhood preparedness.
A disaster supply kit will be given away by raffle. Qwest will also be giving away corded phones that can be used during power outages. For information, e-mail the Fire Preparedness division or call 425-452-6807
