A Message from the City Manager
Welcome to the City of Bellevue, an organization of 1,200 employees dedicated to providing great service to the community. The priorities that drive us are: exceptional public service, stewardship, commitment to employees, integrity, and innovation. To ensure our work is in line with these priorities, we have:
- Accreditation – Bellevue is one of just a few cities in the country where all major operating departments are accredited;
- Performance measurement – Low property tax rate and high bond rating contribute to positive reviews by national publications, while top services mean awards and high resident satisfaction;
- Ethics codes – Above and beyond legal requirements.
As an organization, we routinely challenge ourselves to improve our operations and renew our commitment to this community to do the very best job possible with the resources available. We welcome comments and advice that may help us improve our product.
