Bellevue businesses can take steps together and individually to limit the impact of disasters.
The Bellevue Fire Department Emergency Preparedness Division is hosting a free one-hour presentation on Tuesday, Sept. 18, focusing on emergency preparedness for businesses. The presentation, 11:30 a.m. at Room 1E-108 in City Hall, is designed to help collectively organize businesses in Bellevue to prepare for and respond to disasters.
Most common disasters are weather-related, and Washington has more risk for natural disasters than any other state. Learn how you, your family and your business can be better prepared for natural or man-made disasters.
Parking is limited, so plan on carpooling or walking to the presentation. Enter on 110th Avenue Northeast, then pull a ticket to gain entry. Parking will be validated.
Please RSVP with an e-mail to the Emergency Preparedness division (contact information in the right column of this page) no later than Friday, Sept. 14. Include in your e-mail your name, telephone number, e-mail address and how many people will be attending from your business.
