Thanks to all who entered. Panelists Steven Siegel, Ellen Ziegler and Carol Anderson reviewed 252 entries from 112 artists. The artworks are shown at City Hall, both indoors and in the north plaza, in the Downtown Park, and at four locations in between the two, creating a three-month long art walk through the heart of downtown Bellevue.

What is Bellwether 2012: reGeneration?
It's a sculpture and installation exhibition that creates an art path through the center of downtown Bellevue. Established in 1992, this exhibition is a popular community event, drawing its audience from throughout the Puget Sound area.
A bellwether is an early sign of what’s to come. “ReGeneration” is the central theme for the 2012 exhibition. Our community, like many others, has transformed over the last several years. Most visible are growth as a multicultural community and the emergence of a dynamic, high-rise downtown with 45,000 employees and 10,000 residents.
In past exhibitions, artists focused on sustainability. Today, as we redefine our community to include these added dimensions, we invite artists to explore ideas of sustainable transformation and regeneration at both the material and human level.
