Botanical Garden Gardener

Days: Fourth Thursdays	Hours: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Season: Year-round	Job site: Bellevue Botanical Garden
Length of commitment: Varies	Reports to: Botanical Garden
Work environment: Outdoors	State Patrol check required: Yearly

Primary Responsibilities:
Tend gardens, particularly the Northwest Perennial Alliance's Perennial Border. Work every fourth Thursday of the month; bring a lunch. Tasks may include planting, watering, weeding, propagation, digging and dividing garden plants. Administrative tasks may include recordkeeping, label making and/or curation.

Desired Qualifications:

Enjoyment of gardens and an ability to convey that enjoyment.
Ability to communicate with all ages and stages of visitors.
Physical ability to walk all of the garden paths, dig an dlift plants & pots, etc.
