Some of the key actions the City Council took on Monday at its extended study session included approving outreach for potential ballot measures intended to support capital funding for neighborhood connectivity and upgrades to fire facilities. Councilmembers also finalized a comment letter to King County Metro regarding its long-range plan.

Feedback sought on draft East Main station area plan
East Main study area

The citizen advisory committee working with the community to develop a vision and implementation strategies for the area surrounding the future East Main light rail station is seeking the public's feedback on a draft plan.

Residents can participate and provide comments at an online open house through May 25.

Latest bicycle wayfinding route completed

Just in time for Bike Everywhere Day on Friday, May 20, the city's Transportation Department has completed the latest segment of bicycle wayfinding signs in Bellevue.

The segment runs from downtown to 148th Avenue Northeast, the city's border with Redmond, which is partnering with Bellevue on the project. The next phase of work will extend the route to downtown Redmond. A previously completed wayfinding section runs from the Interstate 90 Trail to downtown Bellevue.
