As part of a pilot project intended to help homeowners and contractors remember the permit part of the home improvement/construction equation, Bellevue is one of seven cities around the country with pages on the site.

City staying informed of federal actions

Just like many of our residents, city officials are closely monitoring how changes on the federal level may impact us locally on key issues such as immigration.

Right now, we are still evaluating how the executive orders issued by President Trump this week will impact us here. What we do know is that the City of Bellevue remains strongly committed to our policy of inclusion. Bellevue police officers don't inquire about immigration status during contact with suspects, witnesses or victims, and we don't see that policy changing.
