The East Bellevue Community Council has an opening for someone prepared to complete an unexpired term concluding on Dec. 31, 2013.
Formed under RCW 35.14, the EBCC is an elected body that has approval/disapproval authority over certain Bellevue ordinances and resolutions dealing with land use matters in an area of East Bellevue, including the Land Use Code, Comprehensive Plan, zoning, subdivisions and conditional use permits. In addition to acting on land use matters, the EBCC follows and provides input to the City Council on other local matters that directly or indirectly affects its service area.
Applicants must be qualified electors and reside in the East Bellevue Community Municipal Corporation. The EBCC meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Lake Hills Community Clubhouse, 15230 Lake Hills Blvd. Attendance at other evening meetings is sometimes required.
