While everyone in King County can now vote by mail, voters with limited vision and physical disabilities can use accessible voting centers equipped with assistive audio and visual technology. One of the three voting centers is at Bellevue City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE (parking and directions).
The Bellevue voting center, in Room 1E-121, will be open at the following times:
- Monday, Aug. 15: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 16: 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
The King County Elections division has details concerning hours and locations at the Seattle and Tukwila voting centers.
Accessible voting centers are non-precinct based voting locations, staffed by county Elections staff, open to all voters. Ballot drop boxes are also located at accessible voting centers for voters to securely return their mail ballot, without the cost of postage.
To vote at an accessible voting center you must not have returned your mail ballot. You must provide proper identification and sign the voter oath. At this point, Elections staff will credit you with voting and you will be issued a voter access card for use on the accessible voting unit. No paper ballots are issued at these locations.
