A record number of children and families -- about 4,000 -- visited the annual Crossroads Holiday Celebration at Crossroads Community Center earlier this week.
Children in need received gifts and had a chance to see Santa and Mrs. Claus at the annual event. This also got to meet Santa's reindeer, courtesy of the Cougar Mountain Zoo in Issaquah.
The annual event is hosted by Bellevue Parks & Community Services with help from the Bellevue Fire Department, who led the drive to collect community toy donations.
The event was also made possible with support from many others, including: New York Cupcakes, Prudential Northwest Realty, Cougar Mountain Zoo, Microsoft, St. Louise Catholic Church, Embassy Bible Fellowship Church, Altrusa International, Friends of Crossroads Advisory Board and Crossroads Café.
Bellevue Television captured some sights and sounds of the event in a short video. (http://bellevue.granicus.com/MediaPlayer.php?publish_id=799) For more information, call 425-452-4874.
