TRACKS Internship--Summer Program Assistant
Days: Vary/ Including a number of overnight leadership opportunities
Hours: 10-20 per week Season: Summer Age: Must be 18 or older

Length of commitment: Minimum 2-3 month commitment

Does canoeing the Mercer Slough, backpacking the Cascades, and testing your limits on a ropes course sound fun? Are you seeking communication and program development skills? If so, this internship opportunity is for you. We are currently seeking a student intern with strong outdoor skills to help to fulfill our mission to help residents of all ages experience the joys of nature. Under the direction of TRACKS staff, you will teach essential outdoor skills and help organize a wide variety of summer events and outreach programs. Under the direction of staff, organize programs and aid in the facilitation of a wide variety of events. Instruct participants in outdoors skills including camping techniques, wilderness safety, and conservation.

Must have current Washington State drives license.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to communicate and work well with others.
Strong work ethic and ability to deal with the physical challenges of the TRACKS Program.

Education about the community and government organizations.
Sense of responsibility.
School credit where applicable.
