Advocacy and Ombudsman ServicesThomas Boydell, the manager of Economic Development, serves as an advocate or ombudsman for businesses seeking to resolve or clarify issues with the city. His contact information is in the right column of this page.
The Office of Economic Development can offer assistance in the permits and development processes, especially when understanding a business's goals and market context can better define the intent and challenges of a development idea. Economic Development works with all city departments, inluding the Planning & Community Development and Development Services departments, which are responsible for long-range planning efforts and land use and building permit services. Other services relate to procurement services, business licenses and taxes. |
